Beeping Danby Microwave Why/How Does My Microwave Beep Half Hourly When It's Not Plugged In?

Why/How does my microwave beep half hourly when it's not plugged in? - beeping danby microwave

I have a Danby microwave. Nothing special, just a special case, $ 50 Walmart. It works well, but these days I realized that even sound every half hour. I've tried to disconnect and reconnect it to see if they fix it. This has nothing, so I was frustrated and finally completely out. Unfortunately, this is not the problem is solved still solid, although there is no power, it would. Is there some sort of computer inside with a "technical problem"? Its really freakin 'boring.

Why does the show every half hour is something I can not answer. A mechanic said that come with Danby, sometimes when the microwave is separated and then a new connection, there is a brief increase in the electronics can not be properly used. Unfortunately, the cost of repair exceed the cost of a new unit.

With regard to the sound, even when unplugged, is there to catch you! No, really, is very high (electrical) within the capacitor can hold a charge for a week. The electrical leakage of the CAP is probably sufficient to minimize power consumption for a couple of circuits that can give the signal. Scary, is not it?

If only every half hour, there are two possibilities:
Live with.
Buy a new one.
